The main method is to enrich the target minerals in the gas-liquid interface through flotation agents, achieving the separation of impurity minerals and target minerals, and thus achieving the goal of purification. During the purification process of graphite, in order to protect the large scales in the graphite, a process flow of multi grinding, multi selection, and coarse concentrate re grinding and re selection is generally adopted in the process.
Process flow
1.Raw ore crushing:Crushing graphite raw ore into smaller particles for subsequent flotation processes.
2.Grinding:Grinding the crushed raw ore to achieve appropriate fineness, which is beneficial for the contact between the flotation agent and the mineral surface.
3.Mixing:Mix the ground slurry with an appropriate amount of water and add a mixing agent to adjust the properties of the slurry, such as pH value and ion strength.
4.Flotation:Inject the slurry after mixing into the flotation machine. In the flotation machine, the flotation agent is added, and the minerals in the pulp interact with the flotation agent to form foam products. The minerals in foam products have high floatability and can be separated by foam.
5.Collection of foam products:collect the flotation foam products for further processing to obtain high-grade graphite.
6.Concentrate treatment:the collected foam products are further treated, such as concentration, drying, etc., to finally obtain high-grade graphite products.
